what to expect
day 1
On day one of the portrait & retouching workshop we will be going in depth of how to pose, different angles, and essentials when it comes to portrait photography.
We will also be going over Natural light vs Studio lighting, how to set the mood.
Starting promptly at 9:00 in the studio (74 broadway, Corner Brook, NL) we will start and go until 12:00 where lunch will be provided at Best Coast Cafe and start back up at 1:00
Two lovely models will be available to practice with in the studio using both lighting techniques.
day 2
Day two of the portrait & retouching workshop is all about the retouching and colour toning. Taking the images from day one we will go step by step threw my workflow.
A cohesive look brought to all of your images tying your whole gallery together.
These retouching skills will set you apart and make your work look clean and professional.
After lunch break at 12:00 we will have time to play around with your images and do one final image to show!
Entire workshop $400.00+tax
25% deposit to hold seat. seats limited.
What will you need?
To get the absolute MOST out of your time at the workshop it is ideal to bring a camera (preferably a DSLR). You might also want to make sure you have batteries, and extra memory cards.
A Laptop will also be to your benefit so you can follow along while retouching and with that said Lightroom and Photoshop are the programs we will be using.
If you do don't have the means to the equipment please feel free to still join, take a pen, paper and 100% bring your creativity!
What will you walk away with?
After the two days you should walk away with the knowledge and skill to gain clients, or to do personal work for yourself!
